Lycan Laws
Gaia's Law(applied to all Lycans)
No Lycan may hunt wild animals for sport.
All that is removed from the earth must be returned in kind.
Before hunting, proper ceremonies must be performed to ask the spirit of the intended prey to give up their life willingly.
Gaia's arms are places of sanctuary, no hunting or acts of war or personal violence may be carried out within its boundaries. The exceptions are the execution of criminals being given the time to convey with the mother before surrendering their life.
Any of Gaia's children may claim the right to live within the arms with surety of care and protection of the Lycan's in whose territory surrounds it if bordered by more than one pack both packs must adhere to the law and provide the care of those within.
Each child of Gaia will be allowed to live to its purpose from the insects to the predators.
The formation of hybrids by unnatural cause such as rape or experimentation shall not be allowed.
Hybrids born of unions of natural relations between consenting parents shall be endured as the will of Gaia.
No child of Gaia will enslave another.
Any spot declared sacred to Gaia shall be protected and never denied to any child of Gaia.
A wulf who loses his mate and goes mad must be hunted to the death as there is no saving the wulf.
If the mad wulf is an Alpha the duty falls to his/her pack.
Lycan Law (applied to all Lycans and amended by conclave each year)
All Lycan's will enforce Gaia's Law.
Lycans will not father/mother children they have no means or intent upon raising among their own kind.
Lycans will respect pack law and obey such law weather they are of the pack or lone wulf.
Territories will be claimed and obey those laws from Gaia which pertain to such territories.
Disputes between packs will be handled by conclave to ensure all laws and knowledge of the Elders may be applied.
All Lycans will travel to conclave once per year to ensure the passage of knowledge, the amendment of laws and the allocations of territories and amending of borders.
Arranging marriages necessary to prevent inbreeding will be a main focus of conclave.
Lycan's are the guardians of all that Gaia has made and shall do nothing to harm them out of neglect, spite or purposeful intent for monetary gain.
Pack Law will be recognized as superseding all other oath other than those of Gaia's Laws
Pack Law of Uthag(applies to all lycans within Uthag borders and holdings)
The Alphas are always the final say on any matter; they will however consult the pack on all matters pertaining to the pack before making final decision.
Gaia's arms are sacred and will be maintained in accordance with Gaia's law.
Entrance into the pack must be voted on by the central members of the pack with final say being held by the Alpha's.
Privacy is a pack priority, when calling on another member’s area of residence or privacy observe courtesy and call out or attempt connection through the link to gain permission.
Respect is given until the other being is deemed unworthy, it may not be demanded.
Positions within the pack are earned not given on right, including the Alpha's. However the Alpha may choose their successor who must be challenged if any member feels they are unworthy of the position.
All members are responsible for the upkeep of the pack lands and holdings.
Additions to pack law must be discussed and voted on by central members.
A member of the pack who leaves the pack voluntarily has right to come back to the pack and expect admittance, however any member of the pack may challenge that right based on pack law.
The chain of command is in place and will be respected by all both up and down the line.
Any behavior that reflect poorly on the pack will be punished, if the behavior breaks with our code of behavior to the point of damaging the pack there will be a vote to expel the offender as well as whether or not their behavior constitutes them being declared werewolf.
You always have a choice obey pack law or leave that is your only guaranteed choice. Everything else is subject to pack law, Alpha discretion and family consensus.
